Beds & mattresses from China

Bring the bed, mattress and bedside furniture into one coordinated bedroom plan.

Make the category work in your room

Consider the bed as a complete arrangement with its mattress, bedside pieces and surrounding storage. Compare the overall footprint with the available space instead of relying on the mattress size alone. Use the headboard and upholstery to establish the bedroom palette.

This SNIMAY DREAM TIME design shows the bed as part of a room with bedside and storage elements. Treat a room presentation as a guide to proportion and finish relationships. Mattress compatibility, the finished bed height and delivery dimensions belong to the proposed product information.

Details to include in your enquiry

  • Overall bed footprint and headboard dimensions
  • Compatible mattress dimensions
  • Bed base and assembly information
  • Upholstery and finish references
  • Bedside furniture and room access

Keep these details beside the room plan and your selection references. Mark what you have already decided and what you want the supplier to propose.

Connect this choice to the rest of the home

Review this category alongside the neighbouring rooms and furniture. Where finishes meet, place the actual sample references together. Mark any decision that affects another item, such as a table size that changes the seating arrangement or a storage layout that changes circulation. A clear selection sheet makes those relationships easier to discuss.

Make the bed, mattress and room fit one another

List the mattress dimensions separately from the bed's overall footprint. A padded headboard, side rail or footboard can make the finished bed significantly different from the sleeping surface shown in a product title. Use the manufacturer's actual drawings when arranging bedside tables, wardrobes and the route to the door. A familiar size name is not sufficient when products come from different suppliers or markets.

Ask which mattress sizes and support arrangements the selected bed is intended to accept. Record the support system, assembly and any product-specific limitations. A mattress should not be selected solely because its colour or height looks attractive in the room image. Review the combination with the relevant supplier, and keep performance or comfort claims tied to the actual product rather than a general material description.

The bedroom should work when storage is in use. Show wardrobe doors, bedside drawers and any under-bed storage open on the plan. Think about where bedding is kept and how it is reached. An upholstered bed can provide a soft visual anchor, but its cleaning and care requirements should fit the household. Obtain the cover reference and instructions, including whether components can be removed or serviced.

Before ordering, check the route to the bedroom and how the frame arrives. A large headboard may need a different handling plan from disassembled rails or mattress packaging. Keep components, hardware and instructions linked by the item reference. At handover, retain the assembly and care documents rather than discarding them with the wrapping. These records support practical maintenance and make a later question about a component easier to resolve.
